Coyote (Canis latrans)

This pedestal mounted coyote from Missouri is in nice, heavy winter coat.  Tanned and mounted in 2009. The stand is not included in the price, but is negotiable.

$450.00 + shipping.

Nice to know: Unlike the Grey Wolf, which evolved from Eurasian ancestors, this species is purely native to North America.  Perhaps this accounts for them being such successful, adaptable predators and scavengers.  They thrive in every state and province of the North American countries, other than a few eastern extremes of Canada. Many ancient legends and stories refer to the coyote as a trickster or a teacher, and often one of the guises of a shape-shifter.

American Beaver (Castor canadensis)

This fully mounted beaver looks like it was caught in the middle of taking down a sapling to drag back to its dam.  You can see in this pose how much beavers rely on their tail for balance. It measures 26 inches from nose to base of tail, and measures exactly the same in circumference.

$850.00 - w/o habitat + shipping method of your choice.

Nice to know: The American beaver is the second largest rodent in the world. (The capybara is larger.)

Tanned in 2008 by Wildlife Gallery.

Virginia Opossum (Didelphis virginiana)

These three ventral-cut 'possums wear their heaviest winter coats; it's a surprisingly soft fur. Dry tanned, each is ready for display as is, or life-sized mounting. All are completely intact, and of very high quality.

$85.00 each tanned hide + shipping.

Nice to know: The English word for this creature came from the Algonquian wapathemwa, meaning "white animal."

Tanned in 2009 by Western Skies Tannery.

$525.00 for one mounted in the pose of your choice.

Bison Necklace (Bovidae B. bison)

The first peoples of the bison's home range all revere the proud bison as a symbol of power and strength. This necklace bears 25 teeth of this ancient animal, so you can wear or display this piece of art to increase your awareness of these aspects in your own life.

$450.00 + shipping method of your choice.

Nice to know: The oldest known name given this animal is in the Lakota language of the Sioux: Tatanka. While a male Tatanka can weigh nearly 800 pounds and stand six feet high at the shoulder, he can still reach a speed of up to 40 miles per hour!

Hand crafted in Idaho.
